The aeroengine with bolted joints is very difficult to research. The structural characteristics of the connection, load case, friction, vibration, looseness, assembly and so on, can influence the stability of the aeroengine crankcase. Therefore, it can not be solved just based on the experiments and finite element method which will cost lots of manpower and financial resources. The design of the aeroengine of our country has not got out of empirical design. The aim of this research is to solve this problem and formulate the seal notebook for the aeroengine with bolted joints of our country independent. In the present paper, ABAQUS is used as the tool for the finite element method (FEM). Lots of comparisons are made with other researchers’results which are got by FEM and experiments. All these comparisons testify the accurate of the FEM in the present paper. First, we proposed an improved cylinder model which can describe the stiffness of the member most accurate. Second, this paper also extend the analytical solution of the elastic stresses produced in a thick plate by the application of pressure to its free surfaces, which is published by Sneddon I.N. in1946to calculate the maximum distance of the bolts of the aeroengine crankcase with numerical fitting method. The error is less than five percent with the result of FEM.
