Currently, the whole world energy supply mainly dominated by fossil fuels, whichare obvious harmful to the environment. In recent years, the globaltemperature warming is also associated with fossil fuels. In order to solve this problem,The wind power generation technology has become one of the countries compete todevelop, But as the number of large-scale wind farm increased, equipment maintenanceand troubleshooting work become one of the most pressing problem. In this context, research a method of wind turbine gear fault diagnosis using agenerator electrical signal. Through the simulation test bench based on a group of windturbines, to study the gear fault simulation and simulation research of wind turbine. Thetest bench consists of wind turbines which simulate by the squirrel cage induction motor,DIGF motor which simulate by asynchronous motor, gear and inverter and the othercontrol element. Data acquisition is completed by the combination of LabView and dataacquisition card. In this paper, Matlab/Simulink was used to simulate the wind generator,Simulation the stator current and voltage signal of the normal and faultconditions, processing the collected signal with frequency demodulation. Combined withexperiments comparing the current and voltage signal acquisition with speed signals toverify the feasibility of the stator current method. Results show that, the experimental bench can simulate the wind power generationsystem under different working conditions. This also can explain, Based on the statorcurrent method, application of the instantaneous frequency spectrum analysis method isone of the effective solutions on wind power electrical signals of weak fault informationextraction method.
