The double track bridge accounted for a large proportion in the heavy haul railway bridges. Because of the different of the load between two track; the failure of consider the rapid growth of the transportation capacity of the existing track; the increase of axle load and the increase of speed, the safety and stable performance of the wagon, the safety and durability performance of the bridges and track structures have run into serious trouble. To solve the above problems, its causes had been analysised, and the corresponding improvement measures had been putted forward. This article’s main research work and conclusions are as follows:(1) Program the calculation program of wheel-rail force based on vehicle-bridge coupled model. Based on MATLAB programming, according to the relationship between the wheel/rail dynamic coupling, at the same time, consider of the track irregularity; snaking motion of the wheel, using the trace method; wheel-rail vertical force model; lateral creep force model, program the calculation program of wheel-rail force of the heavy haul railway. In the programming process, using a calculation method based on snaking motion of the wheel, which can avoid the random specified parameters in the traditional studies and make the calculation easier. The compare with measured data prove the reliability of this calculation method. The program provided an effective way to calculate the wheel-rail force of the heavy haul railway.(2) Use the single point support rail model to establishment the finite element model, then analyzing the vertical dynamic response of the bridges in different conditions. A conclusion was drawn as follow:The transverse connection of the bridge is too weak; the vertical dynamic response is significant difference between different beams which is bad for the safety and durability of the bridge. The vertical dynamic response has no significant difference under the condition of different distance go on the bridge. The effect of the heavy wagon is larger than the empty wagon. At the last of this part, Proposed bridge reinforcement scheme.(3)Analysis the safety and stability performance of the wagon and the dynamic performance of the wagon and the track use the wheel-rail force calculated in the last part. A conclusion was drawn as follow:1.In terms of the safety performance, the heavy wagon is much better than the empty wagon; the empty wagon is in danger of derailment if it faster than80km/h;2.In terms of the stability performance, the empty wagon is much worse than the heavy wagon in the vertical and lateral stability; the vertical and lateral vibration is relatively large if the speed is fast;3.In the terms of the dynamic performance of the wagon and the track, every indicators meet the standard requirements, but with the increase of the speed, the growth is even bigger, there will be the widening of the track gauge and track traverse in the up-lane.The existing line maintenance should be strengthened; the performance of the line material should be improved; the bogie should be upgraded to improve the operating performance of wagon and track.
