As the primary means of resolving traffic conflicts,signal control of the intersectionachieve to separate the traffic flow from space-time.But at the urban road intersections ofChina, the permissive left-turn phase’s intersection is a common phenomenon,due to limitedinfrastructure conditions.For the vehicle of turn-left,go straight motor vehicles andpedestrians share the same phase at the permissive left-turn phase’s Intersection, the left turnvehicle traffic is the mean leading to the accident.Especiallyin recent peak periods,with thetraffic pressure become larger and capacity can not meet demand, the conflict of left-turntraffic may affect the efficiency of the entire intersection.In accordance with the traffic rules:the left-turn vehicle shall give the vehicle straight,left-turn vehicle at the crosswalk shall giveway to pedestrians.However,in actual conditions,the traffic flow in different directionsforced by pass demand that the line of mandatory rules is not obvious,leading to the turn-leftvehicle grab the line straight, and even acceleratat the crosswalk and so on.Such commonproperty "Do not follow the rules" of the Chinese-style conflict is complexity,risk to thesafety and efficiency of the intersection caused a serious impact, and even spread to theentire road network.In order to seek the conflicts’ real characteristics of the permissive left-turn phase’sIntersection, this paper launche a research on the purpose of reproducing individuals’truthfultransport process.Based on the research of pas,this paper excavate the traffic informationthough the video capture space-time data。A true representation of temporal data traffic at theintersection of individual processes running.By using statistical analysis,curve fitting,cluster analysis and other methods,this paper get the common regular pattern of the trafficflow’s temporal evolution and the parameters changes in space-time.Mainly to complete thework and conclusions are summarized as follows:(1)Basic conditions analysis and conflict and interference mechanism of permissiveleft-turn phase’sAnalysis of the basic condition,this paper points out the phenomenon’s conditionnaland general occurred.By classifing existing research and conducting status assessment,this paper determine the core idea that is reflect the real running of the traffic flow.At last, thispaper do a detailed planning process of the data needs, collection process.(2)Straight-Left motor vehicle collision characteristicsBased on the basic conditions analysis of left-turn phase’s Intersection,the vehicle’sspace-time date of straight and left-turn were handled.This paper reaches three sports modesof both through the process of mutual by trajectory data clustering.On the basis of the threetypical behavior,the vehicle through numbers,headway,speed and other parameters wereanalyzed to get the real space-time operating characteristics of the traffic flow.(3)Left-turn motor vehicle-pedestrian collision characteristicsThis paper obtained the pedestrians’ common movement patterns to varying degrees ofinterference at the crosswalk from the point of pedestrian-angle vulnerable groups.On thisbasis, this paper analysis the behavior of pedestrians crossing the street under the effect ofthe green time and the left-turn vehicle together,and the pedestrians’ crossing delay wasanalyzed.At last,this paper get the conclusion that the impact on the left-turn vehicle areblocking and stimulating.(4)Phaseoptimizationstrategyadapts to thepermissiveleft-turnphase’s IntersectionAccording to the real characteristics of the permissive left-turn phase’s Intersection,thispaper proposed phase optimization strategy adapts this henomenon from the perspective ofsafety and efficiency.The research strives to lower the risk of this type of intersection,because of left-turn vehicle.This papers analysis the real operating conditions deeply aboutthe straight-turn left vehicle,turn left vehicle-pedestrians collision of the permissive left-turnphase’s intersection.The study was limited by lack of large data and energy.At last,the paper concludes withprospects and develop a plan for further study.
