Since the1980s in China, the construction of nuclear power plant has been fromexploring stage to argumentation and implementation stage. The “long-term nuclear powerdevelopment planning (2005-2020)” put forward the operational capacity of nuclear power inChina will reach40million kW, accounted for4%of national electricity installed capacity, construction scale of18million kW in2020. The climax of nuclear power projectconstruction has come. But nuclear leak will cause a huge loss to people’s lives and property,Nuclear safety is of the highest requirements of the construction of nuclear power plant. So inthe process of the plant site survey design, analysis and evaluation on the stability of plant sitework occupies an important position. How to analyse and evaluate of the stability of the nuclear power plant site safely, reliablely and effectively has important theoretical and practical significance. There is a lot ofproblems in stability analysis and evaluation of nuclear power plant site, The single stabilityanalysis method is not reliability, validity and practicability. Based on this, in view of thefactors affecting the stability of nuclear power plant site, this article analyse and evaluate thestability of nuclear power plant site in Zhuang he Liao ning.Firstly evaluation the regional crustal stability of site by collecting seismic geologicaldata, then make statistics and analysis; Secondly analyse and evaluate the geological tectonicactivity by using engineering geological mapping, drilling, laboratory test and a variety ofgeophysical prospecting method; Then evaluate the foundation stability of nuclear powerplant site in Zhuang he Liao ning; The last judge the nuclear power plant site in Zhuang heLiao ning is stable.
