ABSTRACT:Graphene supercapacitor is based on the effect of electrical double layer and has good cyclic stability. There is another kind of supercapacitor called faradic pseudocapacitor, like metallic oxide supercapacitor, which is based on pseudo-faradic reactions. Compared to metallic oxide supercapacitor, graphene supercapacitor has lower specific capacitance. However, metallic oxide supercapacitor has a fatal flaw for its poor cyclic stability. Graphene and metal oxide composite, effectively combining the double-layer capacitance and pseudo-capacitance characteristics, both with large capacitance and excellent cycle performance. The choice of the metal oxide, iron oxide has a low cost, pollution and other advantages. Based on the above, this thesis has mainly done the following research1. The GO and FeSO4·7H2O make use of covalent functionalization process for the preparation of FeOOH/RGO composite material, which acts as an electrode electrochemical supercapacitor testing. And RGO make ultracapacitors comparison, the capacitance of the former has greatly improved but the cycling performance decreased slightly.2. The RGO and FeCl3·6H2O using non-covalent functionalization process for the preparation of Fe2O3/RGO composite material, which acts as the electrode material electrochemical supercapacitor testing. Compared with the RGO, FeOOH/RGO make ultracapacitors, have improved specific capacitance.3. The RGO and FeSO4·7H2O、FeCl3·6H2O using non-covalent functionalization process for the preparation of Fe3O4/RGO composite material, which acts as the electrode material electrochemical supercapacitor testing. Compared with RGO、 FeOOH/RGO、Fe2O3/RGO make ultracapacitors, have improved specific capacitance.4. In the cycle performance, the RGO make ultracapacitors showed absolute superiority, these composite materials of FeOOH/RGO, Fe2O3/RGO, Fe3O4/RGO make supercapacitors,the cycle performance is decline, but on the whole relatively good.
