In this paper, against the background of sandy pebble stratum foundation pit of metro stations in Chengdu, the applicability of monitoring Indexes is validated by statistical analysis. Then, the applicability of different constitutive models is discussed by establishing the infinite element model with MIDAS/GTS software and the deformation law of sandy pebble stratum foundation pit in the process of construction. Finally, as well as the foundation pit construction of Gaoshengqiao Station, the deformation law of enclosure structure and surroundings is intensively studied. The main works and achievements in this paper are as follows:(1) The maximum value of monitoring items in the foundation pit construction is statistical analysed. The monitoring control values of ground settlement, building settlement, the horizontal displacements of piles and its tops are validated and some monitoring items’ control values are modified, so as to predict the dangerous condition in the process of construction.(2) The maximum displacements distribution law of sandy pebble stratum foundation pits using open surface method and the maximum horizontal displacements of piles are statistical analysed.(3) The monitoring range of buildings around the foundation pit is put forward.(4) The applicability comparative analysis of Mohr-Coulomb and Modified Mohr-Coulomb is studied. The forced deformation law of enclosure structure and surrounding soil is researched by using the right constitutive model.(5) Based on the monitoring data of the Gaoshengqiao Station, the forced deformation of enclosure structure and variation law of monitoring items are intensively studied, as well as the monitoring index is applicated.
