Lubrication system as an important system of the engine, the system is mainly to transport the clean lubrication of quantity enough, temperature appropriate to the necessary parts for lubrication action,The stand or fall of its working performance play a part in decisive role to the reliability and durability of engine work. Therefore, making an in-depth and comprehensive research is particularly important for the lubrication system.This text takes JX493 diesel engine lubrication system as the research object, researching it from the theory analysis and one-dimensional simulation calculation. First, introduces JX493 diesel engine lubrication system of the basic structure and function of each component, and the distribution of the oil road of the whole lubrication system. Second, the use of fluid simulation software FLOWMASTER to build JX493 diesel engine lubrication system’s one-dimensional simulation model, and in the range of engine speed(1000 r/min to 3600 r/min) choose 6 different operating modes, on the basis of the established network model of the lubrication system and make use of node pressure network algorithm to the system for simulation research. According to the calculation result compare the main oil road pressure of the simulation value and the oil road pressure of the experiment value from pump performance test, the comparison results both basic consistent, shows that the model accurately, and can reflect really every the surface of the friction pairs lubrication conditions. At the same time, the analysis under different engine speeds JX493 diesel engine lubrication system the main flow pressure properties of node and element.Finally, analysis the simulating calculation result, in view of the appeared in the process of simulation, when the engine is in high speeds, the oil pump of oil supply is greater than the amount of lubrication system demand, and cause unnecessary driving power loss, so improve the lubrication system to this problem. Adopt vane variable displacement oil pump instead of the original fixed displacement oil pump, and the improved lubrication system to the simulation calculation again and compare before and after improvement the oil pump drive power size of lubrication system under the same condition, it can be seen when the engine speed is 3600 RPM, variable displacement of the oil pump drive power is reduced by 33.7% to compare with the fixed displacement oil pump, shows that the improved diesel engine lubricatio n system under the high speed condition of the engine, the oil pump drive power is reduced, the engine fuel consumption is also reduced.
