The Generation Of Chinese Artistic Conception In Contemporary Dining Space

China is a flourishing food culture country with a large population, rise and fall of the restaurant industry is at stake. In the current environment, the high-end restaurants are in the doldrums, while, the mass catering is more and more popular. So there need an approachable eating space with cultural deposits and artistic quality. First, with the popularity of civilian catering mode, catering enterprises are also seeking a matched form by creating high quality eating environment to attract civilians, in order to strive for survive and thrive. Second, people have expressed their sense of urgency about returning to people-oriented, nature and the traditional culture. At last, with the improvement of people’s living quality and aesthetic ability, in the choice of a restaurant, not only valued food flavor and quality of service, pay more attention to the dining environment, therefore to create a pleasing dining environment is particularly important. In the face of confused design styles, containing a deep cultural connotation of the Chinese design style is highly sought after and recognized, people are expected to experiencing a catering space, which full of Chinese traditional artistic conception by using the Chinese traditional elements so as to experience the unique charm of Chinese culture, to feel peace of mind in Chinese traditional artistic conception.In this paper, by analyzing and researching the application of Chinese elements in the mass consumption catering spaces, choosing 15 cases of mid-low standard dining space in the domestic, through classification and comparison, to research on the specific application method of Chinese elements in three different Chinese styles, and the artistic conception they may generate, and then through author’s design case to description and verify. Consequently, it can enhance our understanding and recognition of traditional elements and Chinese artistic conception, and make us learn about how to choose the most appropriate style in different space, then to provide a cultural and artistic atmosphere in dining space for the messes, and then to realize the significance and purpose of inheriting traditional culture, to cultivate sentiment, to purify the mind, to increase the commercial value of dining space.
