Buckling restrained brace-reinforced concrete frame structure make up a kind of structure system that use buckling restrained brace instead of the common brace in braced-frame structure. As a special kind of new structural system, it compare to the frame system and frame brace system,we find it is more prominent in the seismic performance. However, although buckling restrained brace is very good for the reinforcement effect, we have to know that is a half of the horizontal earthquake action transmit the force to brace by the node of the structure frame. So, this brace frame suffer the shear stress at the joint is higher than the stress of atraditional frame node. In order to prevent the whole structure of risk under earthquake action, we must prevent brace failure before the node failure, So it is necessary to study the stress damage and seismic performance of the frame joints in concrete system. The status and application of buckling restrained brace in domestic and foreign research review, we find the research on buckling restrained brace of reinforced concrete frame structure, most are used static and dynamic analysis on the whole structure, little research for joints of the frame beam column in the reinforced concrete that with buckling restrained braces. Therefore,it is meaningful to use numerical simulation and parameter analysis the Joints of RC Frame with buckling restrained braces by finite element software.Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the specific situation, as the research subject of Xinghua teaching building project in Yuxi No.1 Middle School. Then, utilizing Abaqus, a finite element analysis software, to analyse reinforced concrete frame joints of a buckling Restrained braces in nonlinear finite element analysis by comparing reinforced concrete frame without reinforcement, reinforced concrete frame with buckling restrained braces, and buckling restrained braced frame of reinforced concrete with joints strengthened for stress and damage of the three modles. As a result, analysis of buckling restrained braced frame of reinforced concrete, the damage of which in joints is more seriousness than the joints of original reinforced concrete frame, and the added buckling restrained braced frames are not developing its bearing capacity and energy dissipation ability normally. But, after analysising and comparisoning the beam column joints strengthened with buckling restrained braced frame, in frame of strengthened joints, buckling restrained brace give full play to the performance, not only making the bearing capacity and energy dissipation capacity of the frame and the frame joint to improve, but also letting the reinforcement come to realize its function.Secondly, according to the results of this study, this paper adopts reinforced concrete frame structure with buckling restrained braces, detection of strength and stiffness of beam column joints connected with the braces, and then the strength and stiffness of joint not meeting the set requirements of brace, first strengthening and then setting up seismic strengthing of braces. Finally, through the analysis of different type of strengthening braces, elastic modulus of buckling restrained brace core, and strength grade of concrete filled in the external constraint mechanism peripheral to the buckling restrained brace, to discuss the change of parameter variation on the frame joint for the influence of bearing capacity and energy dissipation ability, Result can be obtained by analyzing to provide the corresponding ideas and suggestions for civil engineering practice.
