The power system security defense system is one of the most important means to ensure the reliability of the power system. In order to provide continuous and reliable electricity for load electricity, it is important to guarantee the reliability of distribution network. Therefore, the study of the distribution network security defense system is meaningful.In recent years, as a result of great natural disasters, distribution network also suffered serious damages and it also brought great economic losses Therefore, on the basis of previous research with security defense system on the grid, this paper designed a disaster prevention decision support system (DSS) based on situational awareness of distribution network. The main function of the system is to assess the risk of the grid based on the meteorological data in the future and then publish warning information according to the risk value. This system is designed to help the distribution network operators to make accurate and effective measures in order to reduce the loss of the distribution network.This paper has done the work as follows. Firstly, it proposed a model of DG islanding algorithm, this algorithm has considered the difference of PV active output under different weather conditions. Secondly, this paper established a risk assessment model of distribution network containing PV distributed generations based on improved RBS A. In this model, the fault probability of the basic equipment set is used to calculate the load power outage probability. Thus, it enhanced computing speed and shortened the time of calculation. Thirdly, this paper designed the disaster prevention DSS architecture and developed the program of risk assessment algorithm and islanding algorithm. Finally, three lines of Changsha distribution network were selected as an example to test the algorithm’s rationality.At the end of the paper, the main conclusions of the paper were summarized, and the prospect job of disaster prevention DSS of distribution network has been done based on its defect.
