As an important part of development smart grid, the realization of the electrical equipment intelligent, and various disadvantages exist in the traditional electromagnetic current transformer, so it cannot satisfy the requirement of intelligent. But the optical current transformer with its unique advantage is gradually to the smart grid engineering practical. Through the practical application of recent years, however, show that the problems of optical circuit transformer mainly is the operation reliability. In order to test the long-term stability of optical current transformer, In this paper, it design testing platform based on the WinCE embedded devices for monitoring the running stability, and recording its transient output current waveform in real-time.For the test and analysis the long running stability of the optical current transformer, Firstly, it deduced the mathematical model of the output light intensity of the optical current transformer by the use of the Jones matrix, and defined the three kind of characteristics light intensity, and the dc component of light intensity which can reflect the stability of the optical current transformer. Then it analysis of the temperature characteristics of optical device in optical current transformer, and analyzes the change trend of light intensity affected by the temperature, and the influence to the current to be measured. Finally, criterion for the stable operation of the optical current transformer is proposed, combining with the loss of light intensity of the light path system and analyzing the characteristic of the dc component change of light intensityIn order to record the transient process of optical current transformer, this paper designed the wave record module of the transient process. According to the characteristics of optical current transformer, establish the mathematical model of kalman filtering algorithm, and verify the feasibility of this algorithm by an example. On the basis of the filter, the design based on the WinCE embedded transient wave record module, including data format, data storage, wave record module start-up criterion, etc.In view of the analysis of optical current transformer running performance is a long-term process, the design is put forward using the embedded WinCE system and Lab VIEW programming environment development the hardware and software platform which is suitable for optical current transformer analysis in long-term process. This paper introduces the WinCE embedded, including embedded development board type selection and customized embedded operating system, which is the basis for the design of the platform. Using the Touch Panel of the LabVIEW software module programming for embedded development board development and testing, the main functional modules include the serial port communication, network communication, data or file storage and data acquisition based on the network protocol. On this basis, it developed of the stability analysis and transient wave record module program of the optical current transformer based on WinCE embedded system.This paper completed transient recorded wave experiment by the WinCE embedded test platform established in the paper. The results proved that transient recorded wave modules can effectively record waveform and data in the transient process. This paper also completed the experiment about the relation between output variations of optical current transformer when temperature changed and environment vibrated, and Verify the result of theoretical analysis.
