Application And Research Of 500 KV Power Transformer Winding Deformation Diagnosis Technology

The safty and reliability of power transformer, which as an important electrical equipment, is significant to the power system. The transformer would suffer from the strike of a variety of short circuit current during the running process inevitably. Under the strong electric short circuit current, the transformer winding may get some damages, and not only that, it will cause a sudden damage fault directly.Transformer winding deformation test is to judge if the winding deformation and the deformation degree, which makes it has become an important test project. There is a new method that is combining the advantage of frequency response method and low voltage short-circuit impedance method in this article. In order to using this method in reality, a new transformer winding deformation test instrument has been developed, which can achieve obtaining two or more winding characteristic values during once masurement. Therefore, the new equipment can provide sufficient basis for winding state judgment.
