The FA high precision cycloid gear reducer has been widely used in many fields with its high precision, large range of transmission ratio, small size and other advantages. When the FA cycloid transmission is used in practical application, it must be able to guarantee normal assembly, and make the reducer has a high level of accuracy at the same time. Therefore, it is very necessary to strictly control the size of the parts produced in the manufacturing and assembly through the analysis of dimensional chain calculation error.This paper firstly analyzes the basic structure of the FA transmission,then studies the axial mounting parts with relations. the mathematical model of the axial dimension chain is established, and the calculation method of closed loop is got. Based on probability theory, the paper explores the calculation method of reliability of the size chain, and carries out a simple calculation of the axial assembly dimension chain of the FA45-29 cycloid drive.The radial dimension chain pin cycloidal gear part and output part is the key to influence the transmission accuracy of the FA pin cycloid drive. This paper analyzes the main factors affecting the assembly and transmission accuracy in the cycloidal wheel part, then the mathematical model of dimension chain is established, and the calculation method of closed loop is got. Through the research on the assembly of the output mechanism pin and cycloid pin hole and the installation of the bearing, plane dimension chain model is established that considering the gap as the closed loop, and the calculation method of closed loop is got through the transformation of geometry. Finally, using FA45-29 model as an example to calculate the radial dimension chain.This paper researches on geometric error and geometric transmission error based on cycloid meshing size chain and output mechanism dimension chain. Calculation method for geometric error and geometric transmission error that caused by a single factor is got, then the geometric rotation error and geometric transmission error of each part and the system is got through comprehensive. Discussion on the optimization method that consider the transmission error as the objective function and the dimension chain as constraints. Using FA45-29 model as an example to calculat geometric error and geometric transmission error finally.In this paper, the calculation of dimension chain of pin cycloidal gear part and output part and calculation precision of transmission are made to VB program, in order to obtain the calculation results when parameters are input, which facilitates the analysis and calculation.
