With the gradual formation of our country’s large-scale interconnected power grid, the dynamic stability problem of power system is also increasingly prominent. It has put forward higher requirements for the dynamic stability analysis of power system. The accuracy of the governor system model and parameters has great effect on the power system stability analysis results. It has practical significance in the analysis of power system security and stability to establish the steam turbine governing system dynamic model by parameter identification. This thesis analyzed the characteristics of steam turbine governing system, established a more accurate model of speed governing system and carried on parameter identification study.The main research contents and results are as follows:(1) This thesis introduces the working principle of steam turbine governing system, set up the steam turbine electro-hydraulic governing system model according to the actual characteristics. The qualitative analysis of the parameters in the model is made to determine the parameters of each link.(2)The test method for parameter identification of speed control system is introduced, the validity of test data is analyzed, and data preprocessing has been done. The analysis results show that, the test data that been processed can be effectively applied to the parameter identification of the speed control system.(3) Several different algorithms for parameter identification of speed control system are introduced, and their applicable scope, advantages and disadvantages are analyzed respectively. This thesis carried out theoretical analysis and simulation verification on the characteristics of each link of the turbine regulating system. Finally, the suitable algorithm for parameter identification of each link was determined.(4) In order to improve the identification rate, this paper puts forward the methods of parameter identification of electro hydraulic servo link based on sensitivity analysis. In order to improve the accuracy of the results of parameter identification, this thesis puts forward to identify speed amplification and high pressure cylinder power overshooting coefficient at the same time by using the data of different conditions. Simulation results show that, the parameter identification method proposed in this thesis can effectively improve the efficiency of parameter identification, and the identification results are with high accuracy.
