With the rapid economic growth of the country by the people, the demand of electricity increase urgently, while the construction of large-scale thermal power units has also brought serious environmental stress. How to relieve pressure on the environment and reduce valley–to–peak of power grid has become increasingly urgent. Gas–steam combined cycle unit can eliminate the environmental impact fundamentally. It start and stop quickly and the cycle efficiency is more higher than those thermal power units. Along with the large gas turbine development, gas-steam combined cycle unit is used not only as peaking units but also have the ability to drive the fundamental load. With the signing of a long–term supply agreements with Russia and Southeast Asian countries, the material conditions of our country to develop gas–steam combined cycle has also been available. Thus currently the study of gas–steam combined cycle unit has a strong practical significance.The main research work are as follows:(1) Collect the basic formula of efficience of gas-steam combined cycle and on this basis, analyze the parameter efficiency of the sensitivity(2) The theoretical basis of gas–steam combined cycle unit were analyzed and summarized. After reading a lot of references, gas turbine efficiency calculation model is derived differently. By matrix method, the matrix model of three–pressure reheat type of HRSG is worked out. The method has the feature of simple structure, clear physical meaning and easy to apply mathematical tools to calculate.(3) On the basis of mathematical models, the influence caused by each parameter of the gas turbine and the reason is analyzed.(4) By the matrix method established, efficiency analysis on the changes in the parameters of the water system of the turbine is done. Use the matrix method to optimize the system to match the plant of water system.
