The Tropical cyclone is a severe weather system, when it comes, the stormy weather, bring serious threat to the safety of vessels on sea. When the crews realized the route in the future may be affected by the typhoon, They would make the analysis of typhoon danger zone around the original route to make adjustments for reasonable Avoidance. Therefore, when developing a plan to avoid the typhoon, there is a precise, detailed typhoon wind field data for reference, is more conducive to crew members and associated personnel to design a safe and economic route.Based on the analysis of typhoon wind field data sources, this paper points out that the fine degree of typhoon wind field data is not enough, typhoon avoidance route and handling unexpected situations are not reasonable. Then, the type, source and application of MTCSWA wind product provided by American NOAA website is detailed introduced. Wind field information of typhoon " VONGFONG " is analyzed, the results show that MTCSWA wind products can provide the simple, intuitive and effective typhoon real-time wind field data, it can be used as an effective decision-making meteorological products for shipping security managers.On the basis of above conclusions, according to the theory and technique of risk analysis, the route risk degree can be confirmed, and the dynamic safety evaluation model of ships in heavy sea. Using reverse engineering thinking, interpolating fractal theory, integrated application D-P algorithm, Finally, using VC++ to compile the Program of ship-Typhoon wind field Plotting System.The simulation result shows that the system can reflect the MTCSWA wind field on the electronic chart data quickly, For shipping security managers and captains, it has important theoretical and practical value to reasonably effectively determine ship’s typhoon avoidance route, to improve the ability to handle unexpected situations while avoiding typhoon and to improve the economics of shipping companies.
