The rapid progress of science and technology is promoting the development of marine industry. In the era of big data, in order to achieve "Ship Industry 4.0", the intelligent information platform constructing large data fusion environment based on the ship’s safety, economy and intelligence, has become an important direction of development of the industry. The ship power system, as a main propulsion system, has various equipment and complex structures. Ship power system state assessment of the need for integration of processing vast amounts of monitoring data, has brought a big problem to ship enterprises and research institutes. Therefore, based on the existing evaluation methods for ship power system state of research learning, the integration of rough set theory and D-S evidence theory is used to study the ship power system state assessment system, and to develop the simulation software. It has a certain practical significance for the study of intelligent ship safety management.Found in the home and abroad literatures, the rough set theory and D-S evidence theory in dealing with uncertain, imprecise problems with good results. And the ship power system equipment complex many parameters, the uncertainty in the monitoring process usually. Two kinds of fusion algorithm used for ship power system state estimation has a good effect. Rough set approximation space theory which describes the D-S evidence theory in the framework of identification, so the establishment of the relationship between the two, based on rough set theory, the parameters for ship power system with good reduction effect, then transformed into a synthetic judgment of evidence information. In addition, the subjective influence of rough set theory in data processing but also to some extent, to circumvent the D-S evidence theory of information acquisition and expert experience difficulties caused by insufficient, has provided a guarantee for the accuracy evaluation of the ship power system.Based on the analysis of the two algorithms, the research built the evaluation model of rough set theory and D-S evidence theory is introduced in detail based on the ship power system, and evaluation method to validate the method, examples of feasibility of ship. Finally, the paper uses the C# Visual language and MATLAB mathematical tool to evaluate the state of the ship power system.
