As a large commerce building in modern time, it should be provided consumers with a healthy and comfortable indoor air environment. The design of air-conditioning system is based on this request and according to the characteristics of a Commerce City. Using Cooling load coefficient to calculate the indoor heat and moisture load. Under load characteristics and combined technical with economic factors, it’s reasonable to choose the individual options. That is, for 1-4 floors, adopt all air system (ceiling units), for top floor adopt the FP and fresh air system. In the floors of 1 to 4, the function of the fresh air system is directly bringing fresh air in to the ceiling units, and then it join the return air together. The fresh air at the top floor separately moves into the room after dealing in fresh air handing unit. The importment element of air system design is average of air indoor and the water system is easy to make the system balance by the same way. In the design process, the hydraulic calculation uses the method of velocity assumption for air system and water system. According to hydraulic calculation, it can turn out the each system resistance and the diameter. And then the pump and fan can be selected. It is strictly design the air conditioning system and the refrigeration room according with national norms and industry standards. As the commerce city with a special structure—center atrium, it is necessary to make a special reach subject for air flow organization. After comparing different programs in order to confirm the air atrium forms of organization-side air. I propose my own opinion of the airflow evaluation to commercial construction and provide a reference about the air-conditioned design for similar building.
