Ground source heat pump as a use of renewable energy, protect the environment sustainable development of the technology, suitable for today’s development of energy saving and environment friendly society. It’s a kind of new building energy efficiency technology, can use the underground shallow geothermal energy. In view of the Suzhou region abundant groundwater resources, geological condition is good, shallow geothermal energy is rich, is suitable for the development of ground source heat pump. Ground source heat pump air conditioning projects in Suzhou increased year by year, as well as the problem followed. Suzhou area mainly adopts buried pipe ground source heat pump system,buried tube exchanger as the core component of ground source heat pump, its construction quality directly affects the system energy efficiency. Now,Suzhou region lack the necessary construction quality detection means.Backfill is an important process in buried pipe construction. The paper mainly focuses on the buried tube backfilling effect. Main ideas include the following aspects:(1)Refer to the thermal response test instruments advantages and disadvantages of both at home and abroad, developed a high degree of automation, high precision of ground source heat pump buried tube tester.(2)Set up the experimental platform consisting of 15 ground heat exchanger in the university.(3)Use ground source heat pump exchanger tester to test on experimental platform of buried pipe. The following results were obtained: Bentonite clay sand backfill effect is better than that of backfill slurry, is better than original mud; Coaxial pipe heat transfer performance is better than that of the double U tube is superior to the single U tube.
