Wireless sensor network has a broad application prospects in the smart distribution grids with its low-cost, low-power and rapid self-organization. in order to meet the assured requirements of real-time and reliability, in the data communication of WSN for smart distribution power grid, an enhanced Cognitive Map and Optimal control model is proposed, based on the Cognitive Map theory, to apply to the field of data communication of WSN for smart distribution power grid, thus explore a Qos guaranteed theory and application for highly active operation in data communication of WSN for smart distribution power grid. This paper has the following main contents:1. By analysis of the topology characteristic of wireless sensor network, combined with the network connection and terminal equipment’s distribution of wireless sensor network, the whole and the local topology model of wireless sensor network for smart distribution power grid are designed.2. By analysis of the delay and the reliability of the wireless sensor network nodes and links, and using the path selection model to solve the demand of real-time and reliability, so the static routing mechanism based on a path selection model is built, the article example verify the feasibility of the method.3. According characteristics of electricity distribution network data communication in the Wireless sensor networks, a cognitive map model, which represents the intelligent distribution network data transmission in wireless sensor networks, is established through the cognitive map theory. Firstly, by analyzing the main factors which affect the electricity distribution network data communication, we construct a cognitive map model containing nine categories of the concept set {C} and establish the cognitive map model of distribution network data communication WSNs for data transmission in intelligent distribution network of electric power industry, therefore, we are able to express causal relation between the various elements of the concept-set vertex of WSNs network nodes. Secondly, a calculation method is proposed to obtain dynamic routing decisions and adjust the network parameters control variable values according to the inference of each variety of concepts of vertex attributes. Simultaneously, the calculation steps of network routing adjustment strategy and network parameters control variable values are given under three kinds of network condition. Finally, we have developed a simulation to study the proposed method’s performance. By comparing our method against other algorithms under the same simulation environment, the reliability and real-time of its data transmission are improved and can meet the target of data communication performance in electricity distribution network.4. This paper selects the wireless sensor network for smart distribution power grid data communication system implemented in Huangshan power supply company as an example, and then simulate the Cognitive map model, and verify the path select model.Results show that the Cognitive map model can provide effective QoS for distribution power grid data communication based on wireless sensor network. Through the example, it is also verify the path model’s feasibility, balanced the real-time and reliability in data communication, meet the requirement of power industry specification on communication data.
