The theory of non-probabilistic reliability has become a hot research direction after over 20 years of development.Facing with a great deal of bridges entering the aging, many bridge scholars will introduce the assessment of non-probabilistic reliability into the evaluation of bridge.Because of the incomplete theoretical system, further research and development are still needed. The arched bridge, especially Masonry arch bridge, plays an important role in the transformation of the State Highway Bridge in previous years. However, the bridge built in the 1980s will go into the period of maintenance and consolidation. Therefore, it’s of great significance to effectively assess the bridge.Based on the original non-probabilistic reliability algorithm,as well as the analysis of the existing system of non-probability theory, the dissertation makes researches on algorithm of interval model non-probabilistic reliability and also introduces non-probabilistic reliability theory into existing bridge. Actual projects(Huangshi Jowin Hotel Ring Bridge) have been taken as examples in this dissertation to analyze. The bridge is not only the main gateway that connects the Huangshi Wide road and the second floor of the hotel, but also a landscape bridge entering into the hotel.Because the bridge is across both the lake and a street, it not only has the common features of the bridge but also has its own characteristics, which can provide reference value for the assessment of other bridges. The specific researches are as follows:(1) Analysis of different existing models in several and non-probabilistic reliability analysis methods, comparing their advantages and disadvantages, to determine the final article computational model reliability index-the shortest distance as the reliability index defined interval analysis of non-probabilistic reliability model.(2) For lack of a non-iterative algorithm probabilistic reliability index, the iterative algorithm angle correction is introduced into a non-probabilistic reliability studies, numerical examples demonstrated the effectiveness and feasibility of the angle of the modified iterative algorithm.(3) Analysis of the non-probabilistic reliability and response surface method optimization method point of failure characteristics, combined with the angle of the modified iterative algorithm to obtain synthesis algorithms.(4) In this paper, both theoretical and experimental aspects of the text of the project example is analyzed by the movement of the bridge load test to verify the reasonableness of the theoretical results of the non-probabilistic reliability index.
