With the advance of urbanization, the size of residential buildings innorthern city increasing, also the area of heating buildings rapidly expanding inheating season.for multi-source looped network system has good operationalreliability, economy advantages and other superiority, in urban renewal andConstruction, multi-sources heat pipe network system is sought. but it also havemany Shortcomings,for example: a wide range of Failure affecting, Complexcontrol, Difficult to adjust and so on. Especially when leakage accident happen,the emergence of a new node, lead to changes in network topology structure,hydraulic conditions of the whole network will also change, all users of thenetwork will be affected, hydraulic stepout and Heat Maladjustment tookplace.In addition, multi-source looped network system was very complex, withso mang Pipe Sections and heat user, there are a large number of real-timemonitoring data to deal with. The traditional means which manage urban heatingnetwork by leak detection, manual hydraulic calculation and paper, already can’tkeep pace with the modern development of heating network. Therefore, based on geographic information system (GIS), developing a system whcih can detectpipe leakage and analysis fault is of great significance.Combine with the characteristics of the heat source loop system and userdemand, this paper puts forward a solution which can detect the pipe leakageand analysis fault of the multiple heat source network based on ArcGISEngine.by using the technologies of ArcSDE middleware technology, Microsoftdatabase SQL server (MS) techniques and VC programming language, a systembased on ArcGIS is developed,whcih can detect pipe leakage and response toaccidents. At the same time,according to the demand of the system and thecharacteristics of heat source loop system, the heating network’s database is setup Based on Geodatabase. also,Based on ArcGIS,Multi-heat sources andmulti-loops complex heating network is Modeled and simulated,and a functionalmethod is put forward, by using Geodatabase data model,it can generate relatingmatrix and basic loop matrix of heat network quickly,and calculate hydraulicregime of heating network with the Basic Circuit.When pipe-bursting accidentoccur in heating network,along with changes in the logical network model.alsothe entire calculation model is changed.This method is applied to the study ofvalve-shut off scheme after tube-burst accident,the heating influence of theaccident can be quantitative analyzed, also the degree of influence is comparedwhen tube-burst accident happen at different place.In summary, this paper presents a software-hardware complementarymethod to detect pipe section, and combine this method with GIS, a system is developed,which can detect pipe leakage and response to accidents. Throughthis system,we can detect, locate, analysis of leakage accident. It providetechnical support of heating network’s safe operation and accident treatment.also,it improved heating systems’s security and economy.
