Micro-emulsified diesel oil is a fuel with merit of the energy saving and theenvironmental protection. Especially the energy shortage and environmentalproblem have been more and more serious, the role of micro-emulsified oil ismore important. Due to methanol is clean, efficient and wide sources, it gets thepraise highly of people. The paper bases on the principle of micro-emulsion,methanol respectively with0#diesel oil and FT make different proportion ofmicro-emulsified oil, and study the different oil’s combustion and emissionperformance. Paper’s main study and conclusions are as follows:1)The paper optimizes the formula and technology of micro-emulsified oil.Based on the theory of the micro-emulsion, the paper analyzes efficiency ofdifferent emulsifier, ultimately chose Span80, AEO-3, ethyl acetate, methyltert-butyl ether, oleic acid and octyl alcohol several additives, and respectivelyconfigured0#series and FT series micro-emulsified oil.2) The combustion characteristic of micro emulsified oil was studied.Results show that:(1) In the0#series micro-emulsified oil, compared with0#diesel oil, in the low load, the emulsified oil cylinder pressure peak value, theaverage fell by4.1%, high load micro emulsified oil cylinder pressure peakvalue increases, rosing by3.8%on average;(2) In the FT seriesmicro-emulsified oil, compared with FT diesel, micro-emulsified oil maincombustion period is shorter, micro-emulsified oil cylinder peak pressure, peakpressure rise rate, pressure peak acceleration and peak heat release rate increased.The maximum cylinder pressure peak increased8.9%, maximum rate of pressure rise peak increased49.9%, maximum rate of pressure rise peakincreased by117.3%.3) Study the performance and emissions of micro emulsified oil. Under thepremise of without changing the parameters of the engine, the power and torqueand power of the micro-emulsified oil decreased, the FT series micro-emulsifiedoil performance is decliner than0#series; Compared with base oil, in additionto the M5, other micro-emulsified oil CO emissions rise, micro-emulsified oilNOX emissions decrease, and0#series and FT series fell by an average of21.1%and9.1%respectively, NMHC emissions rise, soot emissions have largerdecline, and and0#series and FT series fell by an average of67.1%and92.3%respectively, a big increase in CH2O and C2H4emissions, and FT seriesmicro-emulsified oil’s NOX、soot、CH2O emissions has drastically reduce than0#series; While burning micro-emulsified oil, with the increase of methanol,methanol and ethanol emissions rise.4) Based on the software FIRE, M10is studied under the different injectionparameters. Through the simulation analysis, with the increase of fuel injectionadvance Angle, NOXformation rate also greatly accelerated; Soot emission massfraction decreases.
