At present, the development of highway is very quickly, but the safety and comfort issues are also increasingly prominent, the subgrade settlement of accurate measurement is increasingly challenging, the control of subgrade settlement also have higher requirements.At present, relevant departments have studied several sets of embankment settlement measurement scheme, but there are more or less individual shortcomings, restrict its applications of embankment settlement of convenience and high precision measurement.This topic need to develop a set of by the infrared LED, telephoto lens and linear CCD Suitable for highway subgrade surface subsidence monitoring system. Research purpose is to achieve high precision of the subgrade surface subsidence, automatic, security and stability of the remote measurement.In this paper, the following work has been done:1. This paper briefly introduces the advanced measuring methods of subgrade settlement, expounds its advantages, also lists the corresponding deficiencies.2. The optical imaging measurement method for the settlement of subgrade surface is designed. Detailed introduces the measuring principle, double light path since the calibration measurement, based on the basis of optical path, folding light path, the contrast of the telephoto lens optical path. Finally chose the telephoto lens optical path for settlement measurement.3. According to the proposed measurement method, the subgrade surface subsidence measurement system is designed.4. In order to adapt to field application, the subgrade surface subsidence measurement system engineering is designed. Verified by laboratory experiment and field measurement results, the stability and resolution of all meet the requirements of actual measurement, so as to ensure the safe operation of the highway.
