Abstract:In order to increase the thermal efficiency of the waste heat boiler in gas steam combined cycle, steam-water circulating system of the waste heat boiler often adopt two pressure or three pressure system, two or three drums would be used accordingly. The steam-water separator with corrugated-plates is regarded as common separation equipment in drum, it is very important to steam-water separator system and its performance has direct effect on the number of droplet carry by saturated steam and indirect effect on the running security of the heat exchanger and turbine, so it is very important to research the performance of the steam-water separator with corrugated-plates.For analyze the single-stage separation efficiency, total separation efficiency, pressure drop and outlet droplet size and improve the performance the of steam-water separator with corrugated-plates, we do experiment and numerical simulation to research the corrugated-plate separator with different hook structures in this paper and compare performance of the corrugated-plate separator with different tray spacing. The results provide a reference for the selection and structural optimization of the corrugated-plate separator.The thesis is mainly involving the following tasks:analyze the cold-state test experimental data of single-stage separation efficiency, total separation efficiency, pressure drop, the change of inlet and outlet droplet size, explain the separation mechanisms of the corrugated-plate separator whit different hook structures and different tray spacing. Then analyze the flow field and droplet behavior in corrugated-plate separator by numerical simulation. The results show that the total separation efficiency climb up and then decline, the critical velocity of the 2h corrugated-plate separator is higher than others, about 7m/s, the highest total separation efficiency of the 2h corrugated-plate separator is 98.5% and higher than others in general, the baffle structure of the 1h corrugated-plate separator has a great influence on total separation efficiency when the inlet wind velocity is over 6m/s, the pressure drop of the 1h and 2hm corrugated-plate separator is higher than others, the outlet droplet size would sudden enlargement when the inlet wind velocity approach the critical velocity, adopt wall-film model to numerical simulate the total separation efficiency, the simulated result keep pace with the test result, the highest total separation efficiency of the simulated result of 0h, 1h,2h,2hs,2hm corrugated-plate separator is 92.5%,99.3%,99.8%,94.1%,90.1%. Take all the performance into consideration the 2h corrugated-plate separator is the best, it would be select preferentially in actual engineering.
