Street lamps, as a city necessary public facilities, is closely related with people’s lives. The control and management level of street lamps is the symbol of modern civilization city. Traditional street lamps and the mode of administration has revealed shortcomings, not only high energy consumption, but also increased a lot of manual inspection and repair trouble, caused a lot of waste of human resource and energy. LED street lamp brings hope to the modern society. LED street lamp has the advantages of power saving, long service life and easy control, which provides a way for the new choice of light and lamp control.Aiming at the shortage of traditional street lamps and the wireless communication technology developing, this paper designs a set of LED street lamp intelligent management system based on Wave Mesh. Firstly, the overall design of the system architecture, mainly include both central station management system and street lamp terminal, then made a detailed introduction to the system function and working principle. Through the Wave Mesh network relay communication between the center station and street lamp terminal, system mainly complete the function include remote query, remote control, automatic time switch control, fault alarm positioning, intelligent drawing and query statistics.At the same time, in order to realize the system function, this paper completed both the hardware design of street lamp terminal and the software design of station management center. Firstly, this paper introduces the implementation characteristics and the circuit of each hardware module in detail, including the design of main controller C8051F310, wireless RF module BM100 N power circuit, sampling circuit design. Then do the simple introduction to the center station management system software development environment, interface design, key technology, focuses on the system each function realization principle and the flow of the system in detail.In order to validate the effectiveness of the system, this paper takes 1000 LED street lamps in Shuangcheng District of Harbin City as an example. Through the test, proved the feasibility and reliability of the system. In addition, the paper also analyzed the system application effect and one-time investment returns, the data show that install and running the system can not only give the street lamp management personnel to the experience of intelligent management, but also has great economic benefit.
