Due to the random nature of wind farm output, the problem of large-scale use of wind power is the negative impact of wind power on the power system. For example the uncertainty, peaking problem, the system voltage, transmission line power fluctuation problems.In view of these negative effects to power system operation, this paper presents a new type of wind farm power system by: Direct access to 220 k V bus of the near thermal power plant booster station.In this paper, Wulateqianqi shadege wind farm which is in Inner Mongolia is the study, electromechanical transient characteristics of thermal power plants and wind farms, including the following aspects:Simulation are worked by "BPA", which is developed by EPRI and widely used in the national grid company’s analysis of power system operation.The first type is the wind farm power plant which accessed to the Thermal Power Plant, whether meets the requirements; second class post is whether an impact on the occurrence of various power system.During the computing and research, get the following conclusions:shadage wind farm accesses Kundulun plant, meet the requirements. At the same time, in each fault conditions, wind, fire, power angle throughout the electrical system, the generator speed and voltage deviation change characteristics are within the stable range, shadage wind farms running Kundulun plant does not cause significant adverse entire system affected.
