The heat transfer efficiency of desorption tower moving bed affects the stripping efficiency of activated coke desulfurization directly, and will affect the activated coke adsorption desulfurization efficiency of the whole the regeneration process. The study of heat transfer features of moving bed is imminent. But so far, research on heat transfer performance of the moving bed is still at the macro level, little at particle level. Granular flow in moving bed is researched at observed level. Mechanism research almost have not form a system. In view of universality of granular materials heat exchange equipment application and the requirement of engineering practice, it’s necessary to research the heat transfer between the particles and the particles, between particles and wall, overall heat transfer effect of particles deeply.This study is attached to the SO2 adsorption stripping experiment. The experimental system, the specific objects of the experiment and the experiment plan are introduced roundly. The overall heat transfer performance and the heat transfer law of activated coke moving bed is got by calculating and analyzing the experimental data. Research focuses on the introduction of heat transfer model and heat transfer mechanism from the air inside the tube to the particle system outside the tube of moving bed heat exchanger. The heat transfer coefficient from tubes to particle system and temperature of wall is given quantitatively adopting the method of combining experimental research and theoretical research. The reliability and accuracy of using the theory model and heat transfer mechanism to solve actual moving bed heat transfer problem is verified. The basis is provided for the heat transfer research of moving bed heat exchanger and particle system.In the meantime, centralized parameter method and numerical simulation are used and the calculation results accord to the experimental data are obtained by converting the calculated data to the data which centralized parameter method and numerical simulation is required. This provides a basis for future research of the heat transfer properties of the particles in moving bed. In addition, according to the experimental data and theoretical results, the intensity of heat exchange and each tube side heat transfer performance is researched. This provides reference for moving bed heat exchanger design optimization.
