Due to the influence of ocean wave disturbance ships have six degrees of freedom motions, during which the roll motion is most severely. The roll motion not only affect the seaworthiness of ship and crew comfort, even the ship capsize and other disastrous consequences happen under the serious motion.So how to effectively reduce the roll motion is a hot topic in the research of ship motion control. This article adopts the fin stabilizer as the research object,analyzes the simulation data to verify the anti-rolling performance and design the control unit based on C805 1F040 chip.The ocean environment has to be established before study the ship rolling motion The wave slope data is the input data, and ship roll angle is the output data. Then contrast the mathematic model of fin stabilizer system. And build the simulation frame in Simulink,in order to get the simulation curves of roll angle and fin angle under certain ocean condition. Through comparison with the roll angle data without fin stabilizer, the anti-rolling performance of fin stabilizer can be proved.The fin stabilizer control system is used for collecting the roll angle information and then outputting the corresponding fin angle instruction, and this instruction is converted in servo system to drive fin blade rotation, and then realize the aim of anti-rolling. This paper adopt C8051F040 as the core control unit of fin stabilizer control system. The roll angle is acquired by the MPU6050 gyroscope sensor, and sent to the C8051F040 through serial channels. Due to the limited experimental environment, this paper adopts the servo motor to replace the drive mechanism of fin. At last the control unit can realize several functions. And the display unit for roll condition based on LabVIEW is designed.
