In this rapid development era of computer technology, the methods of finite element are also widely used in various engineering fields, it can turn the abstract data into the image, it can be very easy to see the results of analysis through the cloud picture of finite element. The method of finite element has become a powerful calculation tool in various engineering fields.Crankshaft is one of the important components of the diesel engine, the design and technology level are also very complex, there is very high requirement for the roughness of each cylinder and the quality of crankshaft affects the whole life and availability of the diesel directly.In this paper, it is referring to the geometric model of crankshaft according to the diesel engine 12V240ZJ, I built the three-dimensional modeling, free meshing, edited formulas and defined the loads of the crankshaft directly in finite element of ANSYS. After the continuous processing and the comparing of three groups’data of cloud pictures and corners I calculated and checked the strength of crankshaft.The model of crankshaft is analyzed, and then the natural frequencies and shapes are determined. These could avoid the resonance between the crankshaft and diesel engine.
