In order to study the Ac electrical resistivity characteristic of sand unpolluted and polluted by Copper. AC impedance of different copper ion concent, different water content, different porosities under different current frequencies was measured and then was turned into AC electrical resistivity.Curves of relations of each variables on the electrical resistivity were drawn and then were analyzed. The main conclusions show as follows:(1) Taking use of resistivity method into the reseach of copper contaminated sand depend on the previous research in resistivity method. And considering the influence of the current frequency, the copper ion content, water content, resistivity porosity, sand copper contaminated. Resistivity method were better used in reseach of copper contaminated sand.(2) the resistivity of water decreases with the increase of current frequency; the resistivity of the saturated pure sand decreases with the increase of porosity, and decreases with the increase of current frequency; model of saturated sand considering current frequency was got based on the equivalent circuit;structure factor increases with the increase of current frequency, the structure factor decrease with the increase of porosity.(3) The resistivity of saturated copper pollution sand decreases gradually with the increase of current frequency;the resistivity decreases gradually with the increase of copper ions content;the fitting formula of relationship between resistivity and copper ion content under different current frequency is established.(4) The resistivity of unsaturated pure sand decreases gradually with the increase of current frequency;the resistivity decreases with the increase of porosity; The resistivity decreases with the increase of water content.(5) The resistivity of unsaturated copper pollution sand decreases with the increase of electrical current frequency, copper ion concentration and water content, whereas increases with the increase of porosity.
