As the key part of the whole structures, fire resistance of connections is extremely important for maintaining the security of the whole structures in fire. The deformation capacity and the breakage form of connections under fire is the key basis for the analysis of the fire resistance of structures.Currently much research abuot the fire resistance of PEC column have been finished by scholars at home and abroad. However, due to having only very limited experimental and analyical studies carried, current researches give little guidelines on the fire resistance of the connection combined with composite beams and restrained PEC columns(about the weak axix) with pre-tensioned high strength penetrating bolts. It also limited the application and development of structures in this form.Based on this situation, researchs on the fire resistance of the connection combined with composite beams and restrained PEC columns(about the weak axix) were conducted. The main works are as follows:1 Based on a general review on the researches obtained by foreign and Chinese researchers, thermal and mechanical properties of concrete and steel under elevated temperature were chosen for finite element models.2 A finite element model for connection combined with composite beams and retrained PEC columns were established by program ABAQUS and verifing the models by test data3 Calculating the ultimate capacity which provide basis for getting load ratio under fire by the finite element model above4 Analyzing the deformation and the breakage form based on the established models and comparing the diffrent deformation between models with different parameters to analyze the effect of these parameters on fire resistance performance.5 Defining the duration of fire resistance of connection combined with composite beams and retrained PEC columns and analyzing its influencing factors.
