With the development of economy, the contradiction of energy distribution and supply, consumption and environmental protection have become increasingly prominent. To protect the environment, improve the haze, the national advocate the development of clean energy, and along with the development of clean energy, the power of clean energy is becoming more difficult to integrate grid. In order to improve the grid’s drawbacks, people have turned the perspective to technologies of energy storage, improve it develops from research to use. From a technical perspective, the energy storage technology has become the core of integration technology of distributed power generation system, is the key to large-scale distributed generation industrial applications. The proportion of clean energy situation is increasing, and only through distributed generation energy storage system with access to large power grids in order to maximize the effectiveness of distributed generation, energy storage development will therefore be high hopes.Firstly, the status of development of domestic energy storage technologies are briefly reviewed and summarized and we do a basic research about energy storage medium which is most commonly used. For the problems which we currently facing about the development of renewable energy, we study storage bidirectional conversion device DC/DC in the DC side, after theoretical analysis, combined with the needs of bus voltage of H-bridge in the DC side we do a simulation to verify its topology and working principle, experiments show that bidirectional DC/DC converter can achieve the energy storage power flow in two-way. For wind farm power imbalance brought LVRT and other issues, the use of bi-directional DC/DC with the storage medium, to improve the extent of its power fluctuations. Comparative analysis of single-cell energy storage system control strategy and hybrid energy storage system control strategy. Experimental verification of the advantages of hybrid energy storage system, it can improve the use conditions of the battery.Finally, based on the decentralized control and decentralized control, designing a secondary filter smooth strategy based on decentralized-centralized control. This strategy takes full advantage of super capacitors and batteries and make their function complement with each other, and do secondary filter to power fluctuations of renewable energy, making the net imbalance of power smoother. Based on this control strategy, considering the real-time state of charge SOC, online adjust the power of storage medium to meet the energy storage system optimal working conditions.
