In aircraft lightning protection test apparatus, there are many types of impulse current generator. Whether the aircraft lightning protection test can accurately simulate the real environment of lightning is one of the important factors in the performance of the generator. This paper studied the impact of the square-wave current generator is one of the key equipment of modern aircraft lightning protection test and verification. This paper based on the verification of aircraft lightning protection standards, analyzes the working principle of the impact of the square-wave current generator, designed the corresponding generator control system to optimize the performance parameters of the generator, improve the technical indicators and test the ability of the equipment, has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper describes the major research status of the lightning current waveform generator in lightning protection test, composition and test methods of waveform generator. Theoretical analysis of the two methods about how to impact of the square-wave current, That lumped parameter simulation chain network produces square wave current in a certain width and control of three-phase rectifier circuit output can be adjusted in a square wave current, compared the advantages and disadvantages of both. According aircraft lightning protection standards requirements for shock square wave current, designed a three-phase wave rectifier circuit output square wave lightning impulse current, select and calculate the desired device parameters of the main circuit, and using MATLAB analysis of the output characteristics of the square wave. By designing a network control system, the realization of the remote control and the impact of the square wave current waveform acquisition and processing, and finally study the interference problem of the system.
