With the gradual development of aviation electronic networks, the demand of data transmission is continually increasing in avionics systems. Fiber Channel is the inevitable choice for interconnect of advanced integrated avionics system because of its high reliability, low cost, high speed, strong real-time and good scalability.The FC network data simulation system based on the embedded real-time operating system VxWorks is an integrated overground simulation module which is designed to meet future avionics system applications, it combines the high-bandwidth, high anti-interference ability, low error rate of Fiber Channel and the strong real-time performance, high reliability and good portability of VxWorks. By producing a variety of different types of data services that meet the FC protocol, FC simulation system is capable of simulating the data communication process between airborne network nodes. The simulation system is able to access to the FC network and simulate the real-time operation of avionic networks, and then we can get a series of important referenced data to provide reliable technical support for the construction of avionic networks.This dissertation was firstly elaborated the status of development and respective characteristics of fiber channel technology and the embedded real-time operating system. The direction of research of the dissertation- The FC network data simulation system based on the embedded real-time operating system VxWorks was proposed. After that, an overview of basic principles of the FC protocol and VxWorks embedded operating system is given. Then around the FC network simulation system overall framework, it was made a detailed description of the simulation system hardware structure and software function module division. The thesis focused on focused on the design of the simulation system messaging and communication network design including network design test program to do a detailed analysis. For two message frame structure about ASM frame and ELS frame, has been researched the group frame, split frame, queues design and process of sending and receiving which the key technical issues involved. To completed the whole of the FC network simulation system of the comprehensive test, and has been made improvements on the experimental methods. A new test communication protocol was proposed, and new test software has been written. Sending and receiving of the messages were tested. After that, the performance of the entire FC simulation system is evaluated which is based on the analysis of the test data. At the same time, the deficiencies and improvement direction of the system is put forward in this article. Finally, based on the transplantation of FC network simulation system in different platforms for comparison, realized the unity of the abstract interface and verified the feasibility of the design.
