Research Of Embedded Smart Home System

In recent years, under the wave of Big Data and Internet of things, Smart Home industry has shown its unprecedented vigor and prosperity, a lot of companies in related industries have tilted to this field, and a large number of start-up companies choose to achieve their ambitions in this field. From the relevant industry exhibitions in these years, we can learn that Smart Home has become a focus of attention lies, each new product will also attract a lot of media attention. Therefore, the research of Smart Home system is consistent with the background of the moment.Smart Home system is a highly integrated system based on embedded technology, automatic control technology, communications technology, wireless sensor networks and other related technologies. It integrates the environmental data, appliances, security system, and recreational facilities together to provide a full range of information services and good home experience. Taking this as the goal, this paper made an in-depth research on the Smart Home system based on embedded platform.Based on the in-depth research of related theory an technologies, this paper realized a demo system of embedded Smart Home system. This system mainly used embedded technology and ZigBee technology, realized the remote and local monitoring of the home environmental data and control of simple appliances. The whole system is divided into three parts in the structure, which are home gateway, home network and remote access. Home gateway used Tiny6410 development board, which is based on an ARM11 chip called S3C6410 X, as the hardware platform, embedded Linux system as the software platform, and realized the GUI by Qt. Home network used Zig Bee technology, designed the coordinator node and end device nodes on the basis of the ZigBee development module which is based on CC2530 chip. Equipped with related sensors and LED lights, these nodes formed a small family ZigBee star network. Remote access to home network can be performed in two ways, which are Web browser and Android system, made users remote understand the home convenient. This demo system makes a good presentation of the works and ways of embedded Smart Home system, has some practical value for today’s research of Smart Home system.
