Due to the increasing power of current electronic chips caused by the heating power is growing and the improvement of integrated,the cooling demands of our chips are gradually out of the reach of conventional cooling method by forced convection. In order to avoid the electronic equipment cannot for work properly caused by excessive thermal failure on electronic components,we need to develop a more effective cooling method for cooling components with high calorific value down.We studied the characteristics of fluid mass transfer and heat transfer in microchannel based on the microflow methods. This article conclude two parts: first, the influence of slip phenomenon on microfluidic’s mass and heat transfer; and then, the influence of pulsating flow on microfluidic’s mass and heat transfer.First, no slip and slip boundary condition were set up to study the heat transfer characteristics in circular tube which pipe diameter is 1 um. Then we studied the influence of different pipe diameter to slippage phenomena. We found out that the slip boundary condition has a great influence in micro scale, but in the macroscopic scale, it since that the slip boundary condition is not so important. At last, we study the influence of slippage phenomena on porous media channels.The main content of this paper is pulsating flow. First, we did simulation experiment of pulsating flow comparative to steady flow. We found out that pulsating flow can enhance the heat transfer efficiency of the microchannel, and pulsating flow has a better effect in a periodic change channel structure than a common structure channel. Then, we studied the influence of different pulsating frequency and amplitude to pulsating flow heat transfer. We found out that the pulsating frequency has a great influence on microchannel’s heat transfer, but the pulsating amplitude show little influence on microchannel’s heat transfer.At last, laser engraving method is used for manufacture the porous media channels, and we have also set up a circulation cooling system to study the pulsating and steady flow heat transfer characteristics on porous media channels under experiment, proved that the enhance heat transfer effect on pulsating flow. But with the increase of inlet flow, the enhance heat transfer effect of pulsating flow t in reducing.
