When supersonic aircraft reentry into the atmosphere, the potential energy transform into kinetic energy, which can lead the vehicle into a high speed situation, that will be a layer of high temperature and pressure around it. Due to the high air temperature and pressure, the air has a reaction, such as chemical and ionization that will forms the mixture gas which has a large number of free electrons, we called this plasma layer. This layer of plasma around the aircraft has a great effect on the incident electromagnetic, affect the connection between spacecraft and the ground, and it can even cause the communication interruption which is the famous "blackout" effect. In order to alleviate and inhibition interruption phenomenon of the supersonic aircraft effectively, we do a lot of theoretical derivation and numerical research work of the mechanism of "blackout" phenomenon in this paper, and made a series of experiments. The first part we have a brief description about the character of plasma which in the flow filed around the aircraft, and introduce some model of the plasma. The second part we get the flood picture of the temperature, speed, pressure and electron density of the aircraft around, that we can have a understand and grasp the feature of the flow field around the aircraft. And then, we simulated the plasma density which is caused by relevant parameters. The third part we have a research of the transmission characteristics of electromagnetic wave in plasma, include the analytic solution, the WKB method and the FDTD numerical calculation method, and then we obtained the relationship between the transmission characteristics and all related parameters by computing programming. Finally, the electromagnetic wave propagation properties are simulated and calculated under the plasma density distribution of the flight. The fourth part some experimentals was introduced, and then, the results of experimentals was summarized and analyzed.
