With the development of auto-industry, four-wheel independent drive(4WID) electric vehicle concentrated the advantages of traditional motor drive electric cars and electric vehicles, is the ideal choice for the future electric cars. Because of the unique characteristics and advantages of hub motor, the four wheel hub motors become one of the highlights in agro-scientific research of the four-wheel independent drive electric vehicle. As an important developing direction of the electric car, the motion control of 4WID electric vehicle has become a key technology of four-wheel hub motor, especially on the slope road. The electronic parking system of traditional cars has already been used on some premium cars. Because of the special structure and drive system of the 4WID electric vehicle, the prediction and control has become a difficult research of 4WID electric vehicle. So this paper will focus on auto electronic parking brake algorithm of 4WID electric vehicle based on predictive control. The main research contents the following four points.1. The dynamic model of 4WID electric vehicle is builded, and the structure of electronic parking brake algorithm of 4WID electric vehicle based on predictive control is established.2. The method of quality and slope estimation is studied to replace the longitudinal acceleration sensor and gravity sensor, so that we can reduce the complexity of the electronic parking brake system. Then we do the validation of the proposed algorithm using CarSim and Simulink.3. Build the Fuzzy Model Predictive Control(FMPC) algorithm, and use FMPC algorithm to design the electronic parking brake system of 4WID electric vehicle to make the vehicle more stable and safe on slope.4. In the CarSim software and Simulink simulation environment, respectively using FMPC algorithm and the traditional PID algorithm to control the 4WID electric vehicle, and then compares the control effect of two algorithms simulation and analysis the results of simulation. The simulation results show that based on the electronic parking algorithm of 4WID electric vehicle based on the predictive control method which is studied in this paper can effectively make the 4WID electric vehicle parking on the slope stablily, and the dithering and slope slip phenomenon is prevented.
