Process planning and shop scheduling are two core subsystems of multiform and small-batch production, but their integration is not high in the actual production. Therefore, we integrate the process planning system and shop scheduling system, to improve the efficiency and reduce the cost of enterprises. And we also develop IPPS system of the wiring harness for wiring harness enterprises. The main research work of this dissertation summarize as follows:First, we summarize and classify the technological process of wiring harness design, and get wiring harness process data by constructing process cards automatically. In the first place, we introduce the related concepts of automotive wiring harness, including harness template drawing, connect design, list of loops, process card of cutting and process card of crimping. Then we introduce the technological process of automotive wiring harness, including drawing harness template figure, generating list of loops, design of connecting, generating production cards and preassemble design. Finally we introduce the process of single wire and connecting wire.Second, we propose the hybrid particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve job shop schedule problem. The traditional particle swarm optimization algorithm is easy to fall into local optimum, so we propose the hybrid particle swarm optimization algorithm by introducing the crossover and mutation idea of genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm to PSO. Finally we compare this algorithm with other algorithms, the results show that hybrid particle swarm algorithm is an effective algorithm for solving job shop schedule problem.Third, we implement automotive wiring harness IPPS system, which includes three parts:process planning module, integration module and scheduling module. Through the harness template drawing and selection of connecting point, process planning module can get production cards, including list of loops, process card of cutting, process card of crimping, list of materials. And through the production cards, integration module can extract the process of wiring harness production and get process route by Petri net, to guide workshop production. Scheduling module can get workshop production tasks and gantt chart by using HPSO.
