The double—pipe heat exchanger is composed of inner and outer tube structure and the 180 ° elbow structure, all parts welding together,all structures composing the double—pipe heat exchanger by flanges with bolt and nut. Because the fluid temperature of the inside and outside the tube is different, and the different of temperatures of fluids is bigger,causing thermal expansions of the inner and outer pipe quantity cannot be synchronized,generating large thermal stress. It will destroy the structure,even make the structure of the heat exchanger damage failure.In this paper, designing double—pipe heat exchanger heating ethylene glycol and water liquid,then analyzing the structures by workbench 14.0,analysis and coMParison three kinds of inside and outside the pipe connection structures,choosing the best structure suitable for this design. According to the design, UG three-dimensional tube heat exchanger model is set up,in heat—flow —solid interaction, analyzing and compering structure analysis stress and fluid structure interaction stress. Then analyzing structure stress of double—pipe heat exchanger by heat—flow —solid interaction. Analyzing and simulating the inside & outside fluids in in the double—pipe heat exchanger 。 At last improving structure of double—pipe heat exchanger,solving the question of the big thermal stress.
