Wind power as a clean energy, has attracted much attention. The wind turbine transmission system performance directly affects the overall performance of the wind turbine. Based on ADAMS, using the collision analysis method of multi-body dynamics of the gear box transmission system, the wind turbine drive system speed, and acceleration in the meshing process, the load change of. To change the motion of the transmission system by external impact load, fault prediction by comparison. To analyze the characteristics of transmission system, and make the structure form, we better understand the transmission system, as well as frequently under cyclic loading, the characteristics of wind turbine drive system. For our future more in-depth on the drive system to provide the basis for the research, provides the important guiding role to improve and optimize the design of the transmission system, which has a certain reference value. The main contents of this paper :(1)This paper from the composition and characteristics of wind turbine drive system of the wind turbine generator, gear box drive system dynamics modeling, gear drive system is a system of multiple elements, the elastic continuous system is simplified into a discrete system, followd by the equations into ordinary differential equations,by which expression of dynamic behavior. Through modeling of the gear box transmission system, enables us to huve a more profound understanding.(2)Based on the ADAMS software, dynamic analysis of gearbox transmission system using the collision method, the dynamic characteristics in the process of transmission, then the gear box transmission system is analyzed and flexible fault prediction, verified the rationality of the selected materials. Analysis of gear box multibody dynamics, the dynamics of transmission system for the future in-depth study, to provide the basis for the analysis, but also for the future of independent research and development, provide the basis for improvement and optimization design of transmission system.(3)Based on the dynamic analysis of wind turbine drive system, applying an external impact load on the transmission system, to change the operating state of the transmission system, which is to change its speed, acceleration and the various components in the meshing process of loads, the dynamic characteristics obtained by comparison with the normal operating conditions the prediction, faut of transmission system. This is the drive system for fault prediction provides a basis for further research.
