Dry climate zone with a summer outdoor meteorological parameters have the feature of high dry bulb temperature, lowwet bulb temperature and relative humidity,moisture content of outdoor air is less than moisture content of indoor air.outdoor air + high temperature cold water air conditioning system can be directly used in such buildings.Due to unique climate propertiesin dry climate area,cooling water temperature produced from cooling tower is lower than the rated conditions 32/37℃.On this basis,high temperature water chiller of dry climate area prepare high temperature chilled waterto meet the needs of the air conditioning system.Domestic and international numerous scholars have carried out a lot of researchabout temperature and humidity independent control air conditioning system and its high temperature water chiller,but all research have focusing on the hot and humid climate area,low temperature cooling water under dry climate condition affect the performance of water chillerdoes not take into account,therefore,these research are not universal.This paper combine with the characteristics of dry climate,using methods include:software simulation analysis,field measurement and comparative analysis,completed mainly the following three parts:In dry climate area outdoor wet-bulb temperature on the influence of the temperature of cooling water effluent;In a known on the basis of cooling water temperature,analyse the effect of chilled water and cooling water temperature to the centrifugal and screw water chillers’ refrigerating capacity,input power and coefficient of performance(COP).Site monitoring water chillers of an office building air conditioning system in urumqi,analysis comparatively between the theoretical result and the measured numerical.Through the above research, the paper draw the following conclusion:under the condition of dry climate,wet bulb temperature is the main influencing factor about effecting the water temperature of cooling water,and cooling water outlet temperature range in dryclimate area;under the condition of dry climate,analysewhen the centrifugal and screw water chillers with different chilled water and cooling water temperature running,obtained change laws of refrigerating capacity,input power and coefficient of performance(COP),and the best parameter range of two types;In terms of field monitoring, this paper analysis comparatively the difference between the theoretical result and the measured numerical,come to the conclusion that the error between the theoretical value and the measured values is less than10%, verify correctness of the calculation method and the software simulation.
