U-jacket is a most commonly way of strengthening in FRP shear reinforcement concrete beam. Its mechanical behavior in the interface of FRP and concrete and interfacial stripping damage is the key scientific problems of the application of FRP shear reinforcement technique, and is also a difficult problem. This article bases on the existing experimental study, and carries on the finite element numerical simulation analysis and theoretical research in the stripping failure mechanism and bearing capacity calculation of u-shaped FRP shear reinforced concrete beam reinforcement. On the basis of it, studying the influence that the u-shaped FRP hoop and RC beam internal stirrup relative position have on the RC beam shear reinforcement. The main research results are as follows:(1)Compare the domestic and foreign of FRP and concrete interfacial bond-slip model,and giving a reasonable bond-slip curve. On the basis of deeply understanding U FRP hoop shear stripping failure mechanism, using the calculation model of "a truss- arch", and considering mechanical model of bearing capacity of the FRP stripping shear reinforced concrete beam.(2)Compare test beam with numerical beam, through the analysis of ultimate shear capacity, deflection and stress of concrete, reinforcement and fiber reinforced polymer to analyze its change rule, the numerical results and experimental results are basically consistent.(3)Use COMBIN39 unit can better simulate the interfacial bond-slip between FRP and concrete, the big slip in the end of FRP strips is the key to stripping damage.(4)Change relative position of numerical beam u-shaped FRP hoop and the internal stirrup, found that with the increase of relative position distance,the bearing capacity increased, the ductility of the beam relatively reduced, the utilization of FRP also increased, the shear mechanism changed, it has a Engineering guidance significance in shear reinforcement FRP paste engineering.
