| Without pollution,pure electric car has became a important direction of automotive industry. In the field of electric commercial vehicles, despite the advanced development of pure electric bus, limited driving distance is still a conditionality problem in the development of pure electric bus. It’s the low capacity and high cost of battery that responsible for this problem. Improving the energy efficiency of pure electric bus to extend its mileage is the urgent problem in the research of pure electric bus. While, braking energy recovery has been one of the main methods to improve the energy efficiency of pure electric bus.To retrieve braking energy efficiently,the key point of the braking control strategy is to determine reasonable braking force distribution. The design objectives of braking control strategy include: meet the demand of the driver,insure stability braking and improve the braking energy recovery. To meet those requirements,a braking control strategy of electric bus based on braking intention is provided in this paper. The main researches include:1) The main structure of pure electric vehicles and the function of each subsystem in pure electric vehicles are introduced. Regenerative braking principle of pure electric vehicle is analyzed, and the main factors of recovering braking energy are emphatically analyzed.2) This paper adopts ANFIS based on Sugeno model to identify the driver braking intention. MATLAB is used to built the ANFIS which is trained and tested by real vehicle experiment data. The accuracy of ANFIS identifier is 95.63%.3) Aimed at the recognized braking intention, considering the constraints during retrieving braking energy,a braking control strategy of electric bus based on braking intention is provided.4) Co-simulation of CRUISE and MATLAB is used to verify the effectiveness of the strategy. Experimental results prove that the braking control strategy developed in this paper has good braking performance, which meets driving requirements in typical urban driving cycle NEDC and highway driving cycle US06-HWY. Compared with default braking control strategy in CRUISE, the developed braking control strategy can recycle more braking energy.Braking control strategy based on braking intentions of pure electric bus is researched in this paper, which provides a effective way to improve the energy efficiency of the electric bus and increase its driving distance on the basis of meeting the demand of brake. |
