In recent years, with the emergence of advances in construction technology and new materials,composite structure has been greatly developed, such as in the ultra-high-rise buildings, large-span bridges application. Among them, the steel- concrete composite beam plays a concrete and steel with their respective advantages. And achieved great economic benefits, it has been widely used in engineering. Due to differences in thermal conductivity of concrete and steel, the temperature stress of steel concrete composite structure and concrete structure has a big difference. Under the load of temperature difference, temperature changes inside concrete flange beam lagged behind changes in ambient temperature. At the same time, part of the heat generated by concrete hydration heat was conducted through the shear connectors. Due to the different temperature gradient temperature difference between the larger stress, the temperature stress will reduce crack of the resistance section, also affects the structural integrity and durability. Therefore, with the field measurement and theoretical calculation we will obtain the date of temperature stress. Studying on the temperature difference and stress distribution law is very necessary.In this paper, a 20 m pedestrian bridge which is located in Xi’an was treated as the text engineering background. Through "time- temperature- stress" test,we will analysis the date of thermal stress according the actual mesurement. This article used finite element analysis software ABAQUS,made an simulation analysis of the transient temperture stress filed of steel- concrete composite beame after casting in 7 days. During the process of the simulation analysis,this paper considered the effect of the shear connector and the relationship between the time and atmosphere temperature,generation rate of concrete hydration heat. The conclusions are as follow: the results of the analysis are actually fitting with the engineering; The larger value of the temperature stress of the combined structure was located in the variable cross-section area;The effect of thermal conductivity of the stud have great influence on the distribution of temperature sress of steel- concrete composite beam.
