Reinforced concrete materials since its launch, has received great attention in the engineering field. After hundred years of development, the reinforced concrete structure has become the mainstream of the absolute in port, water conservancy, construction, bridges and other infrastructure. However, as time goes on, the durability of the reinforced concrete is ubiquitous and has become more and more severe. In view of this situation, the durability of the reinforced concrete research is getting more and more the attention of the researchers and engineers, and becoming a hot research topic in the field of engineering. The study on the mechanical performance and bearing capacity of corroded reinforced concrete flexural members is the foundation of the durability assessment and bearing capacity evaluation of bridges and other constructions in service, and it is of great significance.Based on the key project of Fujian’s department of transportation, the research centered on the change rule of mechanics performance and bearing capacity of corroded reinforced concrete flexural member was conducted.Firstly, this paper deeply researched plenty of outstanding achievements in the field of concrete durability and summarized the corrosion law and the rule of degradation of concrete and rebar and then it came to its own point of view. Then, on this basis, the bond-slip relationship between rebar and concrete in the case of different corrosion rate was studied and the formula of this relationship was established.Secondly, the paper elaborated the building up of the constitutional law models of eroded steel, concrete and the bond-slip relationship between the two and laid a foundation for later finite element simulation analysis. Finally, considering the deterioration of bond-slip relationship between rebar and concrete, the finite element simulation analysis on several groups of corroded reinforced concrete flexural members with “ANSYS” was conducted refer to a test. Then with the results of finite element simulation analysis, the research studied the change rules of mechanical performance and bearing capacity of corroded reinforced concrete flexural members and summarized the experiences in the process of calculation in order to provide a reference for similar research in this field.
