Transmission line is an important part of the power system and its operating status is directly related to the safe and reliability of the power grid. So, it is necessary to carry out a risk assessment for transmission line comprehensively and accurately. The traditional risk assessment methods do not adequately reflect the specific operating environment of transmission line and its own characteristics. To solve the problem, a multi-dimensional risk assessment method combining a variety of factors is proposed.In terms of establishing the state parameters system of transmission line, this thesis proposes a construction method of key parameters system. Through the key parameters system, the problem that the parameters in traditional state assessment of transmission line are unclear, complicated and redundant has been solved.In the main part of risk assessment, the method first establishes a risk assessment model from the historical failure and defect information of transmission line based on statistical methods, and derives the quantization process of the state parameters to get results, which have a failure probability meaning, of the risk assessment of transmission line. Then, the method studies the influence of transmission line equipment operating years, time and location information of transmission line and running status of grid on risk value of transmission line, and the correcting method for risk is given. The example shows that the proposed method can be used to predict the risks of transmission line.Finally, this thesis proposes an assistant decision method for transmission line based on the result of risk assessment. Transmission line is classified by the risk of it, and based on the results of classification, assistant decision is made for maintenance of transmission line. And it also provides references for maintenance scheduling and the replacement of equipment.
