| As a key component of the train wheel set, once the wheel set bearing malfunction, it may affect the traffic safety of the train. Many train faults are due to the occurrence of the wheel bearings fault, so it is very important of the wheel set bearing condition monitoring and fault diagnosis.Generally, when wheel bearing being malfunction, it usually exist multiple faults, instead of the case that only has one fault. How to achieve better separation to the mixed signal aliasing that frequency components, has been a hot research for a long time. Traditional methods such as wavelet decomposition, empirical mode decomposition can only decompose the signal into different frequency bands, but cannot effectively solve the problem of overlapping multiple signal spectrums. While the Independent component analysis proposed to solve this problem, and there are very good results. Therefore, this paper take the train wheel set bearing as a specific object of study, for its fault characteristic separation when exist composite fault, Proposed a composite fault diagnostic methods for wheel set bearing based on ICA(Independent Component Analysis). Using the feature that Independent component analysis can decomposed the mixed-signal into several independent components that characterization of the source signal, separating bearing fault source signal respectively from the sensor signal acquisition. simulation experiments and practical case studies prove that the proposed method is effective in the wheel bearing fault characteristic separation.Firstly, this paper has a analysis to the vibration mechanism for wheel bearing failure; then, the single faults mathematical model and multiple faults mathematical model were established on this basis. And the models were realized by simulation using MATLAB. Then designed a train wheel set Fault Diagnosis systems, including hardware and software systems. In the third chapter, describes the use of Fault Diagnosis software system interface. In the fourth chapter, focusing on the train wheel set bearing failure on the outer ring, inner ring, rolling and the presence of these three fault of bearing, the authors conducted a series of tests, and achieved satisfactory test results. |
